We are pleased to announce our next CANRAD webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Carrie Ye, “Leveraging the CanRIO database to better understand rheumatic toxicities of cancer immunotherapy.”
Dr. Carrie Ye is an assistant professor with the University of Alberta’s Department of Medicine. She is a rheumatologist and the medical director of two multidisciplinary clinics: the Northern Alberta Osteoporosis Program and the Rheumatology in Immuno-Oncology Clinic. Her research program has shifted from primarily clinical to epidemiology research since getting her MPH. She is particularly interested in bone and joint toxicities of cancer therapies. She is the Clinical Lead of the Canadian Research Group of Rheumatology in Immuno-Oncology(CanRIO) and started and maintains the national CanRIO database of immunotherapy associated rheumatic toxicity cases. Using this database, she is working on validating administrative case definitions of these toxicities so that surveillance can occur at the population level.
The webinar is scheduled for:

Time: 2:00 pm EST (11am PST, 12pm MST)
